Sat night at home

Well its Sat night at 8:30 and we are already for bed. It seems life is so stressed and then we come to this. Another week is ended and we are getting ready for Sunday. Today I went to the Mall with my mom and Jen (Who came from Washington with the girls). So we went to the mall and walked around. I put some 8mm film that we had from 1975 in to be transfered to DVD into Ritz Camera. This will take about 6 weeks but it will be so much fun to see them again. Then I came home and spent the day watching TV and sleeping. It rained all day so it was a good nap day. (pretty lazy???). So now I am just sitting here reading all of the blogs. Chris spent the day in the woods and came home wet and cold. I don't think he shot anything but he seemed to have fun. This has been a slow year for him and the deer. Maybe next year he will shoot more. Not much else to say today. more later...

Christmas

Well Christmas has come and gone. We had a great time. the 15th we went to Greenville to see Joey and Kim. This was fun and we had a great time. My mom went with us so it was great. Of course there was a Gun and knife show in Greenville so Chris was having a blast. We stayed until Sunday and Kristen came in so we got to see her for a couple of hours. If you remember from last time Kristen has decided she is grown up and does not need to come home so we wanted to see her. (Any way she was going to stay in Greenville for Christmas.) So we left her presents and came home. We spent the week after getting ready for Christmas and then on the 20th we drove to Washington DC. We spent the weekend at my niece's house. On Friday we rode the Metro to the city to see the National Christmas Trees. I will try and post a picture to show everyone. Then on Sat. we did another NATIONAL TREASURE. IKEA!!! I had a blast just walking around the store. We ate lunch and walked around some more. (Chris has his gun shows I have IKEA). After we went back to Jen's and had a nice dinner. She stayed home with her girls and baked cookies and all kinds of goodies. Sunday we went to Church and then left to come home. My sister came to spend Christmas with Mom and we got to spend some time with her and her family. Today we went to Lisa and John Rogers' house and had dinner with them. The kids are getting so big but they are always so much fun to be around. Well we are home now and it's back to work tomorrow. I hope everyone had a great Christmas. I guess more later

babysitting

Well I just got home from the church. Today we babysat for the parents to go shopping. (or just get out). I was in the baby room and we had 4 babies. They are so sweet. Luke came in but his dad was helping out. Maddox is a little small yet but he was so good Jean Carter helped out and we had a lot of teens today. Charity and Precilla are the best. I just feel so blessed to be able to go and help. Heather always makes the food fun. Today the kids made gingerbread houses and Christmas ornaments. Charity took pictures and then Greg printed them out so the kids could take them home. Precilla helped the kids make a box to take home their treasures. Movies were shown and everyone had a great time. Now I am going to go take a nap and then go back to church for the BBQ. more later.

home alone

Today was a good day I went to work and then SHOPPING (yea). I got some Christmas done. Then I came home and watched TV.I don't really have a lot of things to BLOG about. but every one is doing it so I thought, Yeah I could do this. but what could I blog about. Kristen is away at school. Joey is away in Greenville and Craig is just away. Booker and I are here alone. Some days I say alone at last then I think it seems like just yesterday all of the kids were just babies. Now all of them are grown and planning Christmas on their own and I am planning Christmas away. Thanksgiving was the same. Craig came home but Kristen spent it with friends and Joey was at his home with Kim. When they are little you just want some free time maybe just go to the bathroom alone. Then without warning nobody is coming home for Christmas. It's not like we will be alone we have lots of friends to see so we will be very busy. anyway more later.
