Evita
Well I just got back from seeing Evita and I Wish I had taken the time to see the Madona version of the movie. The musical was good but it was confusing because I must of been sleeping during this class in school. I know Argentina is in South America and that there is beef there. Yeah thats about it. I know I should know more than this even after the show but I really don't get it. Was she good or bad? Did she take a bunch of money for herself or was it all for charity? I will have to research this. Any way I have a good time at these shows. I went to Hairspray and Gypsy this season and both of those shows were very entertaining. I am excited about Moving Out (the Billy Joel musical)that is coming in Feb. Anyway this has been a good week so far. I am very busy at work and I did get part of the Christmas Decorations put away. This takes a few days because I do it after work. I am hoping to finish by Sat. (I'll let you know) My Christmas tree motto is: I'll get around to it and eventually I do. I guess thats all for now. more later....

Finally Friday
Well Friday has arrived. This is the probably the longest week of the year. Kristen surprised us on Sunday before church. This was great. She had to leave Thursday to go back to school. We had a good couple of days. Monday she went to Jason's with her dad to shoot. Then we had dinner and then we went to Kohls for a sale. We ended up with about 12 shirts and 1 pair of pants. (all less than $100) I like good sales. Tuesday she washed all of her clothes and got things ready to leave. Wednesday we ate lunch at Moes and then went to church for dinner. Then Kristen left from church with Jenny to spend the night so they could get an early start back to Ark. Our dog does not understand this. Kristen left with us but did not come back. She, the dog, always goes to the door and then comes and looks at us like "where is she" then she will bark and stand at the door. When we let her out she stands on the porch and looks at the road. All night she jumps on the bed and whines. Just what I need. All of the kids leave and I get a co-dependent dog. Chris is ok he just wants to shoot something. It seems like he keeps getting a new gun. (He trades all the time he says.) I know this is true because he does not have any money for guns. I would sell them all and go shopping but he keeps them locked up. (HA HA) This is a good hobby but he needs to get in the shop and make knives. Blade Show is in 6 months. Well I guess I better go. Craig visit
Well we just got back from seeing Craig. He looks good but still wants out. We have decided to not post bond because he goes to his hearing on Jan 24th. He is really not happy about this but I still can't see $1000 for just 19 days. I really do love Craig but I don't see him working enough to pay this back in the short amount of time he is going to be out. I may be suprised and the State may re-instate his probation. (he only has three violations for not reporting) or he could go back to prison and serve his 8-10 months. Whatever the parole board decides, he will have to deal with it. He still has a good attitude right now. well I am off to the Mall more later.....

Happy New Year
Well another year is gone. (soo fast.) Happy New Year to all.We spent the day in Harlyville at Shelly and Jason's. Everyone was there and we had a great time even tho I was late getting there. all of the kids were having a good time. The guys shot and the girls gabbed. the kids played and the babies slept. Dinner was great with all of the food and desserts. Tylee got a puppy and played with it the whole time. The little girls played dress up so I took lots of pictures. The boys played legos and games. everyone seemed to have a good time. GG's cookies were the best. (I only had one) But it was the best. Anyway a new year has begun. Kristen goes back to school on Jan 10th (after not coming home). Craig came home for Thanksgiving but turned himself in and will be staying in St George (on the state) until his hearing Jan 24th. Then we will see how long he will be staying. 2008 has begun!!! Happy New Year!!!! more later.....

Sat night at home
Well its Sat night at 8:30 and we are already for bed. It seems life is so stressed and then we come to this. Another week is ended and we are getting ready for Sunday. Today I went to the Mall with my mom and Jen (Who came from Washington with the girls). So we went to the mall and walked around. I put some 8mm film that we had from 1975 in to be transfered to DVD into Ritz Camera. This will take about 6 weeks but it will be so much fun to see them again. Then I came home and spent the day watching TV and sleeping. It rained all day so it was a good nap day. (pretty lazy???). So now I am just sitting here reading all of the blogs. Chris spent the day in the woods and came home wet and cold. I don't think he shot anything but he seemed to have fun. This has been a slow year for him and the deer. Maybe next year he will shoot more. Not much else to say today. more later...

Christmas
Well Christmas has come and gone. We had a great time. the 15th we went to Greenville to see Joey and Kim. This was fun and we had a great time. My mom went with us so it was great. Of course there was a Gun and knife show in Greenville so Chris was having a blast. We stayed until Sunday and Kristen came in so we got to see her for a couple of hours. If you remember from last time Kristen has decided she is grown up and does not need to come home so we wanted to see her. (Any way she was going to stay in Greenville for Christmas.) So we left her presents and came home. We spent the week after getting ready for Christmas and then on the 20th we drove to Washington DC. We spent the weekend at my niece's house. On Friday we rode the Metro to the city to see the National Christmas Trees. I will try and post a picture to show everyone. Then on Sat. we did another NATIONAL TREASURE. IKEA!!! I had a blast just walking around the store. We ate lunch and walked around some more. (Chris has his gun shows I have IKEA). After we went back to Jen's and had a nice dinner. She stayed home with her girls and baked cookies and all kinds of goodies. Sunday we went to Church and then left to come home. My sister came to spend Christmas with Mom and we got to spend some time with her and her family. Today we went to Lisa and John Rogers' house and had dinner with them. The kids are getting so big but they are always so much fun to be around. Well we are home now and it's back to work tomorrow. I hope everyone had a great Christmas. I guess more later
